I study the impact of sea spray on enthalpy exchanges within the marine atmospheric boundary layer in tropical cyclones. Within the Meso-NH community code, I am developing an explicit microphysical scheme for sea spray that takes into account its emission, transport, sedimentation, and evaporation. I perform coupled ocean-wave-atmosphere simulations of tropical cyclones to assess the physics and impact of sea spray.
