I am a physical oceanographer and Earth-system modeller, currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratoire d’Aérologie (LAERO), Observatoire Midi-Pyrénées (OMP), Université de Toulouse, within the NitroAfrica project. My work focuses on land–atmosphere exchange and biogeochemical cycling, with particular emphasis on nitrogen processes and trace-gas emissions across West African ecosystems. I develop and apply process-based models from site to regional scales, notably CLM5/eCLM, and I combine modelling with observational constraints to improve the representation of nitrogen cycling and associated fluxes. My broader research interests sit at the interface of climate variability, extremes, and environmental impacts across coupled land–ocean systems. I have published on Gulf of Guinea dynamics including wave climate and coastal change, and I work comfortably across model development, large-scale datasets, and reproducible analysis workflows. Technically, I use MATLAB and Python extensively, and I have strong experience with HPC environments and model building, configuration, and evaluation. I am interested in collaborative research that links robust process understanding with decision-relevant applications, spanning greenhouse-gas budgets, hydroclimate risk, and coastal resilience in Africa and beyond.
